Quality Costs QM150-1
Instructor: Roy Kinkaid – email@example.com
RU: 0.8 Prerequisite: None required
Organizations know the costs of operating their processes, materials, equipment, overhead, IT, staff, etc. But, does the organization know the cost of non-quality. To put it in a context, does the organization know the costs or errors, defects, root cause investigation/elimination, customer complaint resolution (cost of an 8-D or CAPA), replacement, and correction, rework and vendor non-conformance? Does the organization track the trend in those costs and their impact on the bottom line? And are those costs used to drive improvement?
In this overview of quality costs, participants will learn the application of the quality cost methodology and how to implement a quality cost program in their manufacturing, healthcare, education, service, software, non-profit, government organization.
The class is presented in a learn/apply model. Presentation is a combination of lecture and practical application of learnings to the participant’s organization creating a framework for implementation of a cost of quality program.
Materials include: a QM150 Quality Costs Manual, and handouts.
