Alfred T. Altopiedi

Al’s quality experience includes lecturing and teaching quality management, auditing and statistics at ASQ seminars, Penn State University, ASQ courses, and courses at Philadelphia Naval Shipyard. He is a graduate of Villanova University with a BS in Electrical Engineering and is an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and Certified Quality Auditor. He has over 35 years of industrial experience as a Quality Engineering Manager at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard and at General Electric’s Switchgear Division in the area of quality assurance and productivity improvement. He is the principal of ATA Consulting and specializes in auditing, productivity and quality improvement, and training in statistics and auditing. He has conducted in-plant training courses in quality auditing and statistical methods.

Art Crowley

Art has over 30 years of executive and management experience with Fortune 500 companies. Twenty of those years he has been involved in Quality Management, and he has initiated successful management systems in many organizations that have achieved ISO 9001 registration. He holds an MS in Physical Chemistry and a BA in Chemistry. Art is a certified ASQ/Plexus Instructor, Quality Management/SPC Instructor and Exam Qualified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor. Art is currently the Director of Optima Performance Partners, Inc. in West Chester, PA.

Thomas P. Davis

Tom is an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Professional Engineer and ASQ Fellow. He holds a Bachelor Metallurgical Engineering and Master Metallurgical Engineering. He has more than 35 years in teaching and industrial and consulting experience in service and manufacturing organizations. He specializes in Continuous Improvement, Documentation for Quality Systems, Process Control and obtaining ISO Certification.

John Eliopolo

John is a past chair of the Philadelphia Section ASQ and is certified as a Quality Manager and Quality Auditor. He is Head Quality Officer of the Quality Development Center at McGuire AFB, responsible for the continuous improvement initiative of the 514 Air Mobility Wing. He holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Maryland and a Masters in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma.

Roy Kinkaid

Roy Kinkaid is an independent quality consultant (25+ years of experience) with an extensive background in the implementation of various quality management systems - Six Sigma, Baldridge, Continuous Improvement, ISO and the Carnegie Mellon Capability Maturity Model. Roy has a degree in management/ statistics from Philadelphia University, certification in Six Sigma, and is a member of ASQ, the SEI, and IEEE Software Society. He has practical process improvement experience in manufacturing, service, software, and electronic commerce industries, helping companies to achieve six sigma quality performance levels. In addition Roy has hands on experience with change management, coaching and the facilitation skills necessary to implement a quality program. He has extensive experience working in Europe, the UK and Asia.

Ray Lotfi

Ray Lotfi is an independent consultant with over 20 years of operation experience with expertise in medical device and consumer product industries on Quality, Regulatory, R&D, Logistic, and Manufacturing issues. Ray has been the project leader on multiple projects, chaired FMEA teams and served on CAPA panels. He has authored Quality System Manuals, Standard Operation Procedures, and Manufacturing Operation Procedures. He has led commissioning projects on the installation, operational and performance qualification of medical devices in aseptic environments. Ray has Master of Science in Engineering Management for the Milwaukee School of Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
